Chaplains/Clergy Spirituality is a very important part of most people's lives. This is especially true in times of crisis, even in those who didn't see its importance before. Therefore, it is not possible to deal with people in crisis without including spiritual experts. The ordained clergy on the CISM team have specialized experience and training, including in CISM, that make them an important asset for the team and community. Some also have backgrounds in the emergency services. Though listed separately here to emphasize their importance, they would fit into one of the other membership categories on the preceding page.
