Referral Network The Montco CISM Team maintains a resource list of professional groups, organizations and individuals that have experience in dealing with acute traumatic or critical incident stress. It is the policy of the team to not refer people internally for professional services. Thus, the professionals that we refer to are not members of the Montgomery County CISM Team. While we feel comfortable with the skills of these professionals, we can not be responsible for their professional activity. Also, as professionals, their services are not free. When we identify an individual through the CISM process that requires more than we are designed to provide, we try to work with the individual to identify a referral that works personally, professionally and financially for that person. In many cases, the referred individual may be covered through a variety of benefit programs. We do hope that should a referral prove less than satisfying, that the involved person contact us immediately with feedback and to give us the opportunity to direct them elsewhere.
