Resource Members This refers to peers and mental health professionals that have an interest in being involved for major disasters but can not commit to the requirements of Regular members. This category is also for previously active Regular members who because of life circumstances can not continue at that level. These individuals have been trained to at least the BASIC CISM level but have not continued. It is felt that in time of great need that these individuals can receive an educational re-orientation and then be pared with experienced Regular CISM members to provide services when numbers are very large. It is hoped that members at this level can attend one educational opportunity each year.
